Brad Mehldau is a GRAMMY award-winning pianist who has recorded and performed extensively since the early 1990s, incorporating traditional elements of jazz with other formats
like electronic, pop and rock. Accompanying him is American bassist, composer, and 9 time GRAMMY winner, and Newport Jazz Festival Artistic Director, Christian McBride. McBride’s
ensembles are a dynamic blend of free-leaning jazz, funk, soul, Latin, hip hop, and rhythm & blues coming together for a unique experience. Also performing is Marcus Gilmore, an
American jazz drummer, multi-GRAMMY winner, composer, producer, and educator. Gilmore draws upon a wide variety of influences from Tony Williams to free jazz drummers like Milford Graves.
