Terri Lyne Carrington, is an accomplished American jazz drummer, composer, producer, and educator. Carrington has won three GRAMMY Awards, including one in 2013 for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, making her the first female musician to earn this Grammy category. She also holds positions on the boards of The Recording Academy, International Society for Jazz Arrangers and Composers, The History Makers, and New Music USA, contributing significantly to the world of jazz and music education.
