Filmed as a modern re-imagining of early silent film, “Louis” tells a mythical tale of a young Louis Armstrong in an homage to Armstrong, Charlie Chaplin, and the birth of American music. The film will have live accompaniment by a 10 piece all-star jazz ensemble, led by Wynton Marsalis with Cecile Licad on piano.
